Peptide skincare,
written out in full.
Sequence is a peptide-focused cosmetics brand in development. Short formulas, named actives, stated concentrations, and no claim that has not been tested first.
The brand
Most skincare is a list of forty ingredients and one real decision.
Sequence starts from the opposite end. Each formula is built around a single active with a well-documented mechanism, in a base chosen to keep that active stable and the skin comfortable — and then it stops. A shorter list is easier to test, easier to tolerate, and far easier to describe honestly.
The name is the method. A peptide is a sequence, a routine is a sequence, and a formula is a set of decisions taken in order. We intend to publish that order: what is in each product, how much of it, and why it earned its place.
How we formulate
Three rules, applied to every formula.
- 01
A short list, named in full
Every active is listed by name and by the concentration it is actually used at — on the box, not just in a press release. If an ingredient is there for texture rather than effect, we say so.
- 02
One decision per formula
Each product is built around a single active doing a single job, with a supporting base chosen to keep it stable and comfortable. Nothing is added so that it can appear on a label.
- 03
Nothing claimed before it is known
Claims follow testing. Until a formula has been through stability and tolerance work, we describe what it is designed to do — not what it does.
In development
The first four concepts.
None of these are finished products. Formulations, concentrations, names and packaging can all still change, and nothing here is available to buy. This is what we are working on.
